Carla Lynch, MA

Carla has been a part of the Sand Hills Preschool family for the past eleven years in many different capacities.  All four of her children attended the preschool, and in 2012, Carla started teaching the Toddler Time Class at the preschool.  On July 1, 2020, Carla took over as the Director of the school.

Carla attended The College of New Jersey for both undergraduate and graduate studies.  She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and earned her Masters Degree in School Counseling.  In the past Carla worked as a middle school special education teacher in the Princeton School District as well as a substitute teacher in the South Brunswick School District.

She resides in Kendall Park with her husband Paul, and their four children, Xavier, Bretton, Peyton and Abigail. Carla and her family are very involved in the South Brunswick Community.  She runs the Children’s Liturgy Program at their church as well as leads worship for the youth.  She was a leader in Cub Scouts for many years and now serves on the committee for Boy Scout Troop 90.  Carla coached in-town soccer for many years.  During the summer months, you will find her hanging out at the Willows with her kids!

For years when she talks to people about Sand Hills, she always says, “When I would leave my children at Sand Hills Preschool, I always felt like I was leaving them with their aunts!  I knew they would be loved and cared for like family!”  Carla feels so blessed to be a part of such a special school and wonderful faith community.
